Our Relationship With Clothes* (O.R.W.C.) is a soft activism project that seeks to cultivate a positive connection between people and their clothing. We creates safe spaces for reflection and conversations while spreading awareness of overconsumption and textile waste.

The project champions the idea that change begins with us, where collective, individual shifts can make a profound difference. O.R.W.C. opens the door to reimagining how we engage with our clothes and the broader fashion industry.

Soft Activism

Soft activism is the power of change within you. It reflects your beliefs and emphasises listening, learning and making informed decisions to drive change in a subtle yet impactful way.

Small changes by many are more powerful than significant changes by few.

Creating change, one question at a time.

3. About Page – Expand the Story

The about page is a good spot to let your personal story really come through — but you can begin with a shared pain point:

So many of us don’t feel good in our clothes.
We shop for confidence. We feel pressure to keep up. We’re stuck in cycles we don’t even believe in.
I (Liz) started O.R.W.C. when I realized I didn’t have a healthy relationship with clothing either…

Then transition into how that evolved into the project — and that your journey is our journey too.

4. Call-to-Actions throughout

Sprinkle short CTAs that help anchor the transformation:

  • “Ready to rethink your wardrobe?”

  • “Start exploring your relationship with clothes.”

  • “Join the conversation.”

✨ About Page Draft – “Our Relationship With Clothes”

Opening: Shared Struggle

So many of us don’t feel good in our clothes.
We shop for confidence. We dress for expectations. We feel guilt, pressure, shame — and still, nothing feels quite right.
We’re told fashion is about freedom and creativity, but most of us feel more lost than inspired.

I (Liz) know that feeling well.

Your Personal Story

A few years ago, I realized I didn’t have a healthy relationship with clothes.
Getting dressed felt like a performance. My self-worth was tangled in what I wore. I loved clothes — but the way I consumed, chose, and thought about them didn’t feel like love at all.

Eventually, I stopped shopping. Not as a punishment — but as a pause.
That pause changed everything.

Without the noise of what was “in” or “out,” I began to notice what actually mattered to me. What I liked. What made me feel grounded. What made me feel like me.
I started asking questions I hadn’t before:
– Why do I think I need something new to feel good?
– What emotions am I dressing for?
– Who taught me what “good style” looks like?

These questions led to a personal transformation.
That transformation became a project.
That project became Our Relationship With Clothes.

The Project

O.R.W.C. isn’t about giving you rules. It’s not about minimalism or maximalism or any other “-ism.”
It’s about you — and your relationship with what you wear.

We believe the way we dress holds power. Not just over how we’re seen, but how we see ourselves.
So we ask questions. We invite reflection. We hold space for change — slow, gentle, personal change.

Through community Q&As, art installations, offline events, our Substack, and the book Future Fashion, O.R.W.C. is growing into a place where we can all explore what clothes mean to us — and what they could mean in the future.

Final Section: A Warm Invitation

It’s a shared story.
Because your journey is our journey too.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, excited, frustrated, hopeful, or just curious — you’re welcome here.
You don’t have to change everything. You just have to start noticing. And maybe, slowly, start choosing differently.
